weekly wishes 001

Inspired by Coley's Weekly Wishes, I have decided to start making weekly (public) goals for myself. It's really great to have New Year's resolutions that you can focus on during the year but breaking down your goals to weekly just seems easier to accomplish. And making them public makes me more accountable!

My goals for this week (which are mostly blogging related):

1. I have a giveaway planned! So my first goal is to get the giveaway post this week. I'm super excited for it! I hope you are too!

2. & I want to start scheduling my blogposts into a calendar. I think giving my posts a due date will make me less lazy :)

So this week I am starting two weekly posts. Weekly Wishes will be posted on Sundays & I am starting a new series called #throwbackthursday to Vlogmas 2014! Apparently I did have enough footage to participate in Vlogmas. I figured instead of letting the footage just sit there, I would post my Vlogmas vlogs on Thursdays! It will be Christmas in February. (I didn't do too much Christmassy stuff anyway, so they won't look that different from normal vlogs.) I really enjoy vlogging so I appreciate you all watching!

So I'm hoping for a productive week. I hope yours is, too! What are your goals for the week?

  2. Good for you for trying to blog on a schedule! I appreciate consistent posts from fellow bloggers, although I'm not so strict with my blogging, I think because I never want to feel pressured to come up with a post. Can't wait for the giveaway! Maybe I'll get lucky!
My goals for this week: Write & send out Valentine's Day cards, and work on my tan haha

  7. Excellent goals for this week. I actually want to organize my blogposts better as well - read: in advance - but with a full time job, it's so hard to spend too much time doing bulk work.

  11. I can highly recommend a schedule/blog calendar! It's not difficult to stick to it (it gives me sleepless nights if I don't stick to it - good motivation i guess?) I've also decided to do some goal setting with the weekly wishes linkup on my blog: www.justblueflint.com ! Good luck with achieving all of yours - you can do it!

  12. One of my goals is to be more consistent too with my blog. These weekly goals definitely keep me accountable and help me stay on top of it! Smaller goals are always easier to accomplish, especially for me. Instant gratification!

  14. Ya! I agree. I like consistency as well. I actually have a TON of blog post ideas, so I don't feel pressure. It's just a matter of making the post. :) I think you'll like my giveaway! (I just need to take photos in natural light. That's always a problem lately.) I hope you get all of your goals accomplished!
