I CUT MY HAIR!!!







For the past 5 years or so, I would grown my hair long, chop it off & repeat. For the past 2 years my hair has be long. I was debating about whether or not I wanted to cut my hair. I would go through phases like, "I am going to cut my hair!" & then I'll be scrolling through Instagram, see this and then change my mind again. 

Then I would think about how much my hair is a pain. My hair would take so long to wash and dry (AND STYLE if I wanted to do that, but I didn't because it was time consuming). My hair became a time consuming project, something I didn't want to have to worry about when I'm traveling. 
So I cut it! 

My friend, Grace Harpole hair stylist at Toni & Guy gave me this great cut. We've been adorable this last few months pinning and brainstorming what it was going to look like. I know I wanted it below my shoulders so I can pull it up when I want and have a soft A line. I also decided that I want to grow out my bangs while I'm traveling. I don't want to worry about making a bang trim appointment every 3-4 weeks.

    Omg I love it! You look great with long and short hair! I'm trying to grow mine out but I think I might just end up cutting again bc long hair is so hard to manage. And it takes longer to wash haha

    I LOOOOVE your new haircut. Some women just look better with shorter hair and you are one of them. It really flatters your face shape so much. Of course you looked lovely with long hair too but this is just stunning.

    The new style is so flattering on you! Looks great. I feel like I've had the same dilemma my whole life. I've always had long hair (and it used to be pretty thick) so, as you mentioned, doing anything with it was a pain and would take ages (curling it would take nearly an hour.) When you finally take the step of cutting it everything feel so much fresher and lighter :)

    Where are you going to be traveling to?! Your hair looks amazing - I actually really prefer it the length that it is now. Gives you an umph!! And I usually LOVE longer hair but really, you look fantastic!! You are soooo lucky you have a Tony and Guy salon near you! I love their products!!

    Thank you, Rae! I never took the time to style my hair when it was long, so it just looked boring. Probably make my face look longer. I'm really enjoying this cut. I'm happy you like it, too!
