my weekend 006

Highlights from my weekend include:

Doing yoga videography. My friend Madison and I are working on getting some of her yoga classes on YouTube. Stay tuned! We filmed a 30 minute flow and a crow pose tutorial. I will start editing soon. So excited!

Using my Target gift card I got for my birthday. I needed to get some mascara so I checked out what ELF (a vegan makeup brand) had to offer in regards to lipstick. I got some new colors that have me out of my comfort zone. It's nice to try new shades & it doesn't hurt that it's only $3!

Going to California Adventure with Keith Sunday afternoon. We went to Cars Land and Paradise Pier. I think those are two of our favorite lands at the resort. We're always just drawn to them. It's so nice to have a Disneyland pass. We're gonna be sad when they expire next month. (We're not renewing our passes because we're going to be out of the country for 4-5 months! So NBD.)

How was your weekend?

  1. I love all the fun stuff ya'll seem to do, and i hope you post your yoga video. I have been doing a little yoga with my kids every night before bed. It's become such a special time for us, but I literally know like two moves, so it's getting a little stagnant;)

    1. The yoga video is in the works! It will definitely be shared on the blog. Yoga with kids must be great! Sounds like a lot of fun.

    1. I actually use a lot of ELF products. Almost everything. They are hit or miss. Their products get a lot of reviews on their website so it's good to see everyone's opinion. I have bought items that I've repurchased and items that did nothing for me & I threw away. (It's not a big risk because everything is so cheap!) Maybe I'll do a post of all of the products I use. Would you be interested in that?

    1. They are! I was talking to my coworker about gift cards yesterday. She said it's a good thing that I actually used my gift card because a lot of people hold onto theirs for years. I think what got into my head was when she gave it to me she included a little note saying what to use it for. I was telling her a while ago that I needed new workout gear so she wrote in the gift card, "get yourself some workout gear!" Interesting how that works, huh?
