Weekly Goals 002

This weekend was packed with celebrations. 3 birthday parties ranging from 1 year old to 85 years old. & Keith's parent's 35th anniversary. I am exhausted, but in a good way. It's great to be with loved ones especially after a long trip. How was your weekend?

Last week's goals:

Make a onesie. I put a zipper in! This onesie has been pretty difficult for me to figure out. I've never really sewn off of a pattern before and I don't really know what I am doing. Fortunately my mom is helping me! One step at a time, I will finish it! (I just need to keep on making it a priority. :))

Get my blog posts in order. Check! I put all of my blog post titles in my iCalendar. I know other bloggers buy a specific calendar for organizing their posts, but in iCalendar, I feel that it's easier to move things around if need be.

This week's goal:

Scrapbook. I am limiting myself to one goal this week because it's a big one. I want to edit, print and scrapbook all of my photos from our 3 month Europe trip. Huge goal, right? Wish me luck! Haha.

What are your goals for the week? I'd love to hear about them!

  1. I do the same thing in my Calendar app! I have a specific color for my blog, so I'm glad to see someone else does the same! Scrapbooking is such a huge goal, so I wish you the best of luck! My goals this week are kind of lame. I need to buy makeup remover. Isn't it pathetic that's a goal?

  2. Ahhh that's such a cute photo! I love the scrapbook idea! I wouldn't know how long it would take me to make one though. It's already taking me a good year to write about my trip from last summer, and it was only for 2 weeks *hangs head.*

  3. Thank you, Kim. :) Ya, this scrapbooking endeavor is really daunting because I want to edit all of the photos. Such a huge task. We'll see how long it takes! >.<

  5. I love this picture of you two! I think it summed up your busy weekend perfectly. I am sure it was nice to see all the people you guys missed in one (or 3) place! Much nicer than hopping from house to house trying to catch up. You were so missed. Happy to have you two back home.

  7. That's great that you are making a scrapbook!! They take a lot of time, but they are worth it! I remember making one in high school (I think). Since then I haven't made any more, but I have so many photos lying around and I kind of wish I had made more. They really take so much time, so many props to you if you end up following through and finishing yours!

I'm currently on vacation and all my goals have gone out the window. I haven't even written a blog post in weeks! Ahh, I feel a bit out of sorts, but sometimes you have to disconnect and enjoy some time for yourself.

Disconnecting is important. Happy you're able to do it! Enjoy your vacation!
